The name Lumix is a nod to light: Panasonic's very first products, over a century ago, were lamps. Its cameras kept the obsession, pairing practical, well-thought-out bodies with lenses designed in partnership with Leica.

Our hybrid camera courses put those lenses to work. With a professional photographer, you learn exposure on your own camera — aperture, shutter speed, ISO — and how to trust the electronic viewfinder to judge a scene before you shoot it.

Lumix bodies are also favourites of filmmakers, and for good reason: the video side is serious. If moving images tempt you, the same fundamentals of light, framing and focus carry straight over.
